What You Are Probably Seeing
Leakage shows up somewhere other than where it starts. These are the signs we look for — and what each one usually means.
Damp patches on the ceiling below
Water has already passed through the slab. The stain is downstream of the actual entry point, often several feet away.
Peeling paint and falling plaster
Trapped moisture pushing outward. Repainting without treating the roof buys you one dry season at most.
Cracks across the terrace surface
Thermal movement. Roofs in Pakistan swing 30°C+ between day and night — rigid coatings split along these lines.
Water standing after rain
A drainage or slope problem. No membrane is designed for permanent ponding; this must be corrected first.

How We Approach It
The same four steps on every job. The system changes; the method does not.

Inspect the roof, not the stain
We trace the entry point — cracks, parapet junctions, drain outlets, pipe penetrations — before quoting anything.

Match the system to the exposure
Exposed roof: UV-stable polyurethane or acrylic. Covered by tiles or screed: cementitious or bituminous. Getting this wrong is the most common failure we see.

Prepare the surface properly
Cleaning, crack treatment, fillet at upstands, priming. This is where waterproofing succeeds or fails.

Detail the weak points
Reinforcement fabric at cracks, corners, drains and upstands — the places a membrane always splits first.
