SYMPTOMS
What You Are Probably Seeing
Leakage shows up somewhere other than where it starts. These are the signs we look for — and what each one usually means.
Water level dropping with no usage
Leakage through the base, walls or a construction joint. Measure it over 24 hours before assuming evaporation.
Damp patch on the outside of the tank wall
Water is already through the wall section. Surface treatment inside will not be enough on its own.
Cracks in the tank floor or wall
Shrinkage or structural movement. These need routing and filling before any coating.
Leakage where the pipe enters
Penetration detail. The concrete rarely fails — the joint around the pipe does.

How We Approach It
The same four steps on every job. The system changes; the method does not.

Empty, clean and test
The tank is drained and cleaned so the actual leak path can be seen, not guessed.

Treat cracks and joints first
Routing, plugging and joint treatment before any coating. A membrane over an untreated crack simply moves the leak.

Apply a system rated for water contact
Cementitious systems that hold under continuous water pressure and remain suitable for the tank’s intended use.
04
Cure and fill test
Full cure, then a controlled fill and observation before handing back.
